Starter battery isolation whilst camping?

I also deffo recommend getting a couple of these battery monitors, one on each battery.

That way you have a simple way of keeping any eye on things, before it all goes pear shaped.

I think I'll invest in the 10A Victron you've recommended. If I remember correctly, I ran some 2.5mm2 from the NSR to under the passenger seat so I'll probably put a hook up point under the rear light and mount the charger under the passenger seat with my leisure battery. Chop the croc clips off and extend the cores to the engine bay.

(This just popped into my head whilst typing...) OR, could I connect the charger to the starter battery (+) on the CTEK?!

Yes you can pickup the starter battery feed from the dcdc Ctek charger location.

Glad the info helped you make a educated decision on your van.
