Squeal/squeak on accelerating after a long downhill run

As the title. This has been happening for a few months & first became noticeable when we were skiing in the Alps. After a long downhill run with little braking or acceleration, I get a squeal on first acceleration at the bottom of the hill when we hit the flat. It sounds like a water pump/dry belt pulley type of sound and seems to come from the drivers side engine bay. It lasts a couple of seconds & then goes away. It’s pretty predictable but only after a looong downhill run. The van is a 204 DSG 4mot. 55k miles, cam belt & water pump changed last year.
Any thoughts from the collective?

It’s a guess but maybe the alternator clutch pulley is slipping both ways?
