I’ve been fitting some new connectors onto the compressor and noticed the old ones were quite rusty inside. I do drain it periodically, however I wonder if it is time to replace my ancient Aldi £60 compressor? It sometimes has a little think before starting! I’ve replaced the outlet manifold a while ago with a part from amazon that lookd the same - a friend picked it up with the outlet connector and cracked the old manifold!
Any suggestions for a compact DIY compressor on wheels with 25L tank. Hyundai seem to get good reviews.
To be honest a lot of the internals are from the same manufacturers, the tanks may vary though. They are so cheap now that its worth just buying a new one OR a low mileage 2nd hand one. The law has changed on compressors for businesses where they have to be inspected internally every year so there may be a number of small ones being sold on cheap simply because it’s financially easier to buy another one.
