I've searched the forum and established lack of maintenance as the probable cause ... but are there any recommended solutions please?
It's on a 65 reg T6 and the Skyline pop top is about 4-5 years old. It has a fixed solar panel.
I'm wondering as to the the best solution please ... initial thoughts are to rub back the affected areas and spray and lacquer these areas? Do I need to rub back and spray/lacquer the whole roof. Should I consider a vinyl wrap for the roof around the solar panel?
Thoughts appreciated.
As an after thought I've seen Polytrol which may be a part of the solution but presumably I'd still need to wet and dry to get rid of the flaking top surface ... then paint or just the Polytrol?
