One thing I discovered when researching this topic is that some conversions with M1-tested RIB or rock and roll beds have a metal reinforcement bar that sits within the spare wheel well. If fitted, this imposes a further restriction on the size of spare wheel that can be carried underneath. Something to be mindful of when considering any wheel/tyre combination.This thread has got me thinking about an option for a spare now I've fitted 20s.
This tyre isn't far off the same as a 265 40 20. And it is load rated for a t32.
Does this size fit in the standard spare wheel carrier?
