If you do go for flexi, one tip is to put a square of vinyl wrap underneath it to greatly simplify taking it off if it needs to be replaced.

From the research i've done, i'll definitely be going rigid now

I put two rigid on the roof bars. Solid fix, easy to swap out if they get damaged. Not really visible from the ground. No wind noise at all.

Hi. Really like what you’ve done with the rigid solar panel. Can I ask one thing though. Do you think the extra weight of the solar panel will be an issue for the gas struts or the scissor hinge on the pop top? I have a skyline fitted and they don’t recommend putting any extra weight on it.
