True, but I don't, so works for me. As mine is SWB, I find that the door can go beyond the awning (especially the Debus canopy), so if it's raining having the door latched open can mean the inside of the door getting wet. Simple and cheap solution.
 
Brilliant! Don't know why it never occured to me, especially as I have half a dozen of the things in the van, originally intended for levelling the camping table in the awning, but now also satisfying the "two uses for everything" rule! Thank you :)

(I also find the door snags the drive away awning if pushed fully open, so this simple solution will hopefully prevent damaging the awning)

I don't know if your table has little screw in feet but ours has and I replaced them with some nylon threaded rod 130mm long and hot glued the same size nylon nuts on the bottom to make the feet again now 4 adjustable legs
