We have a rattle coming from the top mechanism on our T6 Autohaus Camelot sliding door. Should there be a rubber stop built in to the end of the u channel for the top roller?
I had a rattle on my Kombi twin slider from which I thought was coming from the drivers side rear slider but.. I tracked it down to the seat belt sliding mechanism just on the right hand side of my head. Stripped it down and loaded it with grease which sorted it.
Mine had a rattle on the top drivers side sliding door .I got my mrs to sit in the back and push on the door in different places .found it to be top rear .
There is a rubber stopper on the top back ,I put a little rubber door stopper on the end of the rubber stopper .The type you get on the back of kitchen cupboards to stop them banging .
This cured mine .

@carlg - any chance you could post a photo of your adaptation so I can see if I can copy it? Rattle is driving me crazy and VW tell me they can’t hear anything
