Recently purchased from VanleisureUK but now selling as van plan has changed. I was originally getting a panel van to convert and needed 6 seats, so with a single front seat this was going in the middle of the cargo area.

This is the middle seat of three individual seats, as used in the shuttle and hence has its own integrated seatbelt and comes with 4 floor brackets and nuts. Pretty sure it is Pandu fabric. You will need to purchase the underfloor strengthening brackets.

£500 ovno - collection from Leicester LE9. Photos on request.

If you have any questions please let me know.

I have a camper but could do with another seat I can clip in and out.
I can see this is sold but just wondering can they be attached anywhere in the van if just specific locations.
Cheers

Dave,

Thats an interesting question! I’ve found that with some extra brackets on row two, in official locations, the single seat will fit in three different positions. I have a double and a single on row 2 and two extra brackets allow it to fit in three positions left, right and middle. You could fit two middle seats on row 2, left and right - with their integral belts thats quite appealing!

I posted a thread a wile ago with my findings.

The seat fixings are on 15” centres so the single can go here, here and here on row 2

Or here in row 3. Also with modification to the seat plastics and/or wheel arch profile you can get two in row 3 with a gap down the middle.

So this is my van I can only go next to the door it in the middle which will be tow 2.
Is it possible to cut out the exact bracket shape and fix then to the floor without lifting the hole floor ?.
This is the only picture I have

Having just drilled the floor and fitted extra brackets I know the box sections under the floor have the holes in them already for the brackets - I only had to drill through 1 thickness of metal.

In theory you could drill the holes from underneath giving you reference points to cut the brackets into the floor. Fuel tank, adblue tank, heat shields and underbody plastics would need removing so a pretty big job and ideally on a lift rather than on your back!

I dont think a ramp is essential, would make it easier. Van would definitely need raising. To fit the additional brackets I had to remove two undertrays, split and drop the exhaust, slacken the heat shield just to get my hand in, and it was a struggle - the scratches and red marks on my arms are just calming down!

All the suggestions on feasibility without taking the floor up are IMHO. Drilling the floor when I could see the divots for the brackets was bad enough so you would need a lot of checking.

Perhaps have a look in the vicinity of the spare wheel as its more open and you’ll be able to see the box section & seat bracket holes for row 3 seats and make your own mind up on possibilities.

This is a pic under my van for the R3 seat brackets. The box section looks the same for row 2. You should see holes in the folded box section but not in the floor. hope that makes sense.

Thanks for that it’s a big help.
I will have a good look and even get it up on a ramp before I put any money into it.
Thanks for your help
