Just thought I'd try on the off chance anyone has got a seatbelt buckle for a single passenger seat on a T6.1 (the one with the switch inside)

Mind has stopped latching RIP

Breakers only sell them with a seat attached

There are quite a few places that sell substitute ones. I’d measure it & also the knife that clips into the socket as these vary. I’ve changed 2 in the last few years once on the passenger side of my Tiguan, seat out & I was advised to disconnect the battery first to avoid getting any errors as apparently it’s linked to the airbags. I can’t confirm this but I did it anyway. My wife’s rear off side belt socket was a pain. I finally got something half suitable & had to modify it because the lap belt used the same anchor point. I’m perfectly happy it’s safe though as if an accident can snap an M12 bolt & nylock nut I don’t think the passenger is going to be very well.
Edit don’t forget to make sure it’s got the wired connection. It’s unlikely you’ll get one with the exact same plug so you might have to just cut them off & joint them (crimped connections are better)

My passenger seat does not have a wired connection...

I don't think they are that expensive from VW either? And I've seen plenty on eBay, also if it's truly one without a wire it can be a T6 one - whereas the wired one must be for a T6.1 else you'll get airbag error codes

Yes as I’ve said. It’s for a T6.1…..

Yes and as I've said, if it's for the passenger side it doesn't matter if you get a T6 or a T6.1 buckle, there is no wire (least there isn't on a panel van)
