Hi all,

I'm after a single rear seat with integrated seat belt (so the middle of 1+1+1) to put in the third row.
Any age or condition really as it will get occasional use.

Or whilst I'm here could anyone suggest a different seating set up?
I currently have a 1+1+1 in the middle but would like an extra seat In the third row - I thought about swapping out two of the middle singles with a double, and putting the single in the rear, but I understand the brackets I have now won't be on the correct place for a double - could anyone confirm this?

Thanks!
Scott

If you have a 1+1+1 in row 2 then a double kombi seat will clip straight in. The double doesnt tip forward to gain access to the rear.

Absolutely. I have a 2/1 kombi seat in row 2 and a single in row 3. I have fitted extra brackets into row 2 so I can move the single shuttle seat forward.

The centres of the kombi double seat legs are 75cm - you can check this against your current floor bracket configuration.

The double wont fit in row 3.

Thanks! That is good to hear, as the singles with seatbelt are expensive!

So you can swap the double and the single?

Also is your single in row 3 over to one side or on the middle?

Its in the middle. They can be fitted to one side but may need the wheel arch dressing to clear.

Its just a case of weighing up costs Vs storage Vs aesthetics.

Going for a double kombi seat will leave you with a surplus RHS single seat. From what I’ve read the 1+1+1 shuttle seats have their own fabric types so I don’t think a kombi double would be available in the same fabric (not 100% sure on this!). My single shuttle is different fabric to the rest of the seats but not a problem as in the back

Thanks.

I have found a breaker near me that has a surplus double on its own, so that is sorted

Fabric will be completely off anyway as my seats are bespokely upholstered. I'm happy with that though as the double will only be in on the rare occasion we need the 7th seat.

Ok, now to look at where to put the seat in row 3 - I presume when I lift the floor matting I'll see the dimples to drill the holes?

Yes just align front to back with your existing middle seat brackets and copy the placement / dimensions from the existing middle seat….IMG_2805.webp

Perfect thanks for your help.
I've got LWB - I assume this doesn't make much difference?
Is there much to drop/move underneath?

On my SWB the rear set of brackets were factory fitted (9 seat window van!). All the nuts are visible / accessible without removing anything. IIRC a couple might be hidden in box sections.

If you do a search there is lots of information about fitting seats / brackets.
