Single front seat change to bench seat

Thinking of swapping my single captains seat to bench seat. Reason is I can't swivel drivers seat 180° because of fitted units in rear.

2023 T6.1 van with folding rear seat bed.

Is it a straight swap? Will the bench seat swivel 180°? Thanks

probably have to drill 4 holes and get captive nuts on the bolts, i found the double was a pain to swivel so swapped it out for a single, does your passenger swivel as well

The holes are there but you need the nuts and bolts. One needs the ad blue tank dropping too if you have one. And check your airbag too. If it's a factory single it's likely it's a single bag

Yes, both singles are captain seats and both swivel but drivers seat only 90° as fridge unit/furniture in the way

Double bench is very easy to swivel if you get a rusty lee sliding swivel base

Would you not need an additional electrical connector for the bench seat belt

Most change the other way lol double isn’t good for long journies

If you was still considering converting, I’d be interested in the passenger single.
I have the double, and fittings etc. And cash your way.
