Shuttle layout options

Hi guys. Looking for some advice, I’m toying with several ideas. Currently use our SWB shuttle T6.1 for family days out, day van activities etc, looking at now kitting out for overnight stays etc. The van is so versatile, love being able to click out the individual seats in the middle row. I barely use the rear 3 seater bench, but it had me thinking the other day. Is there a way to potentially spin this 3 seater bench around? It wouldn’t be for travelling in as we don’t utilise it, and seatbelts the wrong way round etc, just for use as a place to sit (potentially get a table for) for day trips, bad weather etc eating lunch, then in the evenings fold it flat, fold middle row flat and we’ve nearly gotten a full bed base sorted. I’ve played about tonight, but unfortunately the edges of the shuttle interior trim catch the sides of the base a little bit and stop it from clicking in. Has anyone gone about removing the trim or found a way to spin the three seater bench fully round?

Just thinking of all options before sinking money into a ovano kinda set up. Thanks :)

Long delay in reply. Not sure what solution you came up with but I’d probably find an old knackered seat, use the feet from it and make up a set up so it clips to the oem mounts and then you can fit this seat to it.

As you won’t use it for travelling it only really needs to be stable for sitting and when driving.

Cheers for your reply. I’ll have a wee look into it :)
