Self destructing solar panel

So, last weekend, on the m62 at night is the windows storm from hell, the protective cover of my solar panel blew off. SmPping of the wire junction box on the top.

My converters won't answer my calls... not somewhere I'd recommend, despite it being under warranty for another 18 months, so I guess im sorting this out myself.
So...

I have a fridge and usb, pretty light use.
Will 200w be enough, think I had 100w before.

Can anyone recommend a flexible panel?

I would prefer to have one that didnt self destruct in the first sworn.

Guessing I just remove existing one with a wire thingy and then get new sticky stuff, stick new one down and then plug into existing wiring. Is that naive?

@Deckard22 there’s a big difference in the roof temperatures depending mainly on the colour but also the material; steel oem or pop top fibreglass.
I think it’s well documented that adhesive panels don’t fair well on black of dark van roofs.

Depending on what solar controller you have, it may not be that simple. We need more information.
A rigid panel will generally last longer and be more reliable than a flexible one.
