Seat belt locking trouble on front seats

Hi all,

Newbie here! I've looked through all the threads and I just can't find the answer to my issue!

We have recently bought a T6. I tried to fit my 3 year old car seat on the front seat but I can't get either seatbelt in the passenger or middle seat in the front to lock out?

The back seats are fine, I pull the seat belt right out, let go and it locks as every other car I've had does.

Why can't I do this in the front? Am I missing something?

Hello and welcome....
Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're doing....the seat belts shouldn't lock on the way back in or whilst rolling onto the spool.
They should lock on the way out.
Try snatching the belt while its hanging freely.
