Screws Cbe Sockets

Hi Guys,

What screws do you use to fix the CBE sockets/ back plates to 3mm ply, without the thought that the additional metal from the screw, will protrude too much?

I'm after a cheap solution after the amount of money I've spent on the rest of the conversion!!!

Off top of my head.. think I used these or simular.

If you are using any MP22B 230 volt sockets I recommend that you add another piece of 3 mm ply at the back to reinforce the screws. Otherwise the sockets can work loose after a while due to the effort required to remove plugs.

Marytn @travelvolts , that's a great idea....wish I hadn't installed them first thing this morning now....I missed your addition.....Once they fall of the wall, I will use your trick to get them back up again.
