Rust inside

Hi all. When I removed my bulkhead some time ago I stupidly forgot to treat the welds that were cut off. How much of a problem is this and what can be done about it? I’m just about to batten the floor and will then want to lay a new 12mm ply floor sometime soon.

What’s the best thing to test it with?

Personally I would remove as much as possible mechanically then treat with Kurust or similar (Bilt Hamber make some rust treatments) then add some protection.

Good move. That’s good stuff as too is Bilt Hamber’s Dynax UB for doing the underside. It’s way better than Lanoguard and Waxoyl for keeping the tin worm at bay.
