Hi folks, we are heading to Riva Del Garda tail end of June, i have covered mainland Europe many a time on my motorbike but never a campervan.
We are looking at heading over on the tunnel and looking at a few stopovers on route. I am not a lover of motorways as they bore me to death but the one good thing is they get you there the quickest. We have looked at southern Germany, maybe around Baden-Baden, then I would like to wild camp on or around some Swiss passes and maybe a night in Livigno before getting to Garda, So, some questions if I may, max three nights to get to Riva, roughly my route to get there as I’ve said, I’m sure plenty plenty of you have done it previously, so is there anywhere you would recommend to stop at on the route or anywhere to avoid ? Or anyone got different route ideas they have done in the past ? All suggestions appreciated.
