Roof rails and cross bars to support a tentbox?

Hello all.
I currently have a t6 Caravelle 2018 swb and is fitted with side bars from van style.
First question is are these heavy duty enough to fit cross rails that will support a roof tent + 2 people total = 250kg approx. If so which ones are best.
If not heavy duty enough which bars and rails would be the ones to go for?
Appreciate any advice if anyone has any? 😁image.webp

Sorry for the slight thread hijack - if you put a straight edge across the side rails what is the gap between the centre of the roof and the straight edge?

I’m trying to ascertain how much height the roof rails add. Each side of the roof dips down compared to the mid point of the roof i.e. the middle of the roof is the high point. Also the channels are recessed, so an 8cm high rail might only add 4 cm to the overall height.

Thanking you in anticipation.

They should have 2 load ratings - static (which is stationary, i.e. the load during tent box use) and dynamic, the load during driving, i.e. the max load of the tentbox.

There are at least 4 threads pinned above ,im sure at least one will have the info you need. Failing that why dont you contact vanstyle.
