Roof bar bolts

Hey. I’m about to pull my roof bars off my 6.1 and I can’t remember if i removed stock screws from the fixing joints. Or the ones holding the bars on just go back in to fill the threaded holes

i could start ripping my garage apart to try and find them but figured id see if anyone on here knew

What bars have you got? if they are the OEM style roof rails then the OEM plug is very different from the bolt holding the rail on. You will most likely need OEM plug to put back in the hole once you remove your rails.

Rails bolts will be alot longer

It's not the sealing the threads to worry about, you need to seal to the out roof so no water gets from the gutter into the bodywork.

yes you will need different bolts to go back in. these are the ones that go back in
