RNS 510 USB inputs

I currently have the RNS-510 headunit in my T5, looks like it only has an AUX input in the glovebox. Has anyone fitted USB inputs in the dash for the unit?

In attachment RNS510 pinouts. Some USB adapters simulate CD charger, you have to enable it via coding.

I fitted one of these in a Skoda Superb once. It fits in a single DIN slot, bit I just left it loose in the glove box.

This one looks like it just has the Apple lead, so it would need the VW USB one too. They are less than a tenner.
