RIB or Rusty Lee single swivel, which one is easiest to use?

We've just got a single passenger captains seat for our T6.1 (sold the remaining kidney). I need to get a swivel base, I'm considering the RIB or Rusty Lee, and wondered which is easiest to operate, for example minimal amount of adjusting the seat back or sliding the seat forwards and backwards to swivel it without bumping the dash etc.

I have a RIB but tbh I can’t see that one would be easier than any other, there just isn’t much space unfortunately.

@T6Ollie thanks for the reply, did you have to modify the plastic of your seat any? RIB vs RL doesn't seem to be much difference in price.

I did yes, I trimmed about 30mm off each side if I remember correctly.

I don’t have any experience with the rusty lee bases but for what it’s worth the RIB bases haven’t been faultless. I think I’m happy enough with them now but both have rattled/squeaked requiring greasing and I also removed the riser shims from the drivers side. The included handbrake replacement cover was total shit as well.

I have it, but time has been my enemy and it's not fitted yet. I will post back when it's done.

The one thing I can say is it's pretty heavy in the box 😀
