Hi All,
I have swapped my double passenger seat for a single, and went with a Rusty Lee swivel base at the same time. Everything seemed to install pretty well until I came to put the nuts on the seat base front two bolts and the bolts are not clearing the nuts (picture describes it pretty well).
I have spoken to Rusty Lee, in case I was being dumb, and they said they haven't come across this before. I then reached out to the folks I got the seat and base from (they sell a lot on eBay) and they said some seat bases have shorter bolts than others.
After googling etc I can't seem to find another thread that discusses this. Has anyone else had this issue and how did you resolve it? One option I could have is to cut the bolts off, drill out and replace with longer high tensile bolts.
