Rib 112cm Slider And Normal Van Roof

Hi I want to buy a rib Altair 112cm with the slider mechanism but are worried about how much head room there would be with a normal van roof ie not a pop top any advice ?

Are you worried about headroom when in the bed or when sitting in the back of the van (or both) ?

I had originally planned on having a sliding RIB fitted during my imminent camper conversion but was talked out of the idea... There are various pro's and con's to the RIB slider over the fixed RIB.. Headroom is one if you want the rails in the floor system... as you'll lose about 20mm head room... might not sound much but i guess it depends on how tall you are....

If you're looking at the 200mm sliding RIB system, then headroom shouldn't be too much of a problem... Best advice is to try and get to a couple of camper sellers or converters and get in one of the demo vans and see how it suits you...
