Reverse camera flipped image

Hi, is the image meant to be flipped when using a reverse camara, ie, iv a parked car on my rear drivers side but the image shows car on the left on screen, I just can’t get used to this, especially trying to hook up a trailer, I’m sure my old van wasn’t like this, its an after market installed on tailgate above number plate

Sorry, I don’t know model of camera, but it looks like this, I had it installed a few weeks ago

There will be a wire (probably blue) that is located near the cameras plug where it goes to the main loom. Sounds like it’s been cut , check this out and if it’s cut rejoin it or visa versa . It’s used for front camera option etc

but the installer should have noticed this
