Retrofit VW parking sensors guide

Hi all,

I'm attempting to retrofit genuine VW front and rear parking sensors with a kit from VAGTEC, which doesn't have any instructions (and having contacted them I don't think I will get any). So... does anyone have any guides/info/advice? Including best route for wiring (in Caravelle) and locations of PDC and other wiring points.

Any advice gratefully received!

Hi, I have fitted the Vagtec sensors for front and rear on my T6 but can’t remember the wiring for it. I have noticed on the controller the yellow wire isn’t connected to anything could you throw some light on that for me ??

Can’t quite remember where the yellow wire went, perhaps to the dimmer switch. I’m getting intermittent dimmer terminal 58xs malfunction so that may be the cause. Everything but the new parking button dims currently. Do you have it working OK without the yellow wire connected?

Yes it works without the yellow wire connected
