Replacing stolen badge - how to?

Hi here is our lovely van before we went to France but some friend to humanity stole the badge.

Post trip (filthy - I know!) I have a new backing plate thing and a new badge but I can’t see how it actually fits in and is retained?

This is a T6.1 with the cruise control sensor which is under the badge (I think?).

Any help gratefully received.

That’s unlucky!

The t6 badge just pushes on with the plate sandwiched between. The t6 can be difficult to push on when the grill is fitted but if it’s all OEM it should be ok (assuming it’s the same as t6). I hope you get it sorted and have a great trip!
