Removing microwave?

For anyone with a microwave in their conversion; do you know how they are fitted? I cant see any securing screws inside/above/on the right side. My microwave is on the floor so I'm guessing they're not underneath. The only place I have left to look is to remove the fridge to check the left side.

Got one in ours but I fitted it built the cupboard fronts around it
Only way to get ours out is to remove the worktop.
Does it have a surround fitted ?

This is ours. I can't quite figure it out, but to me it looks as if it slides in rather than has been built around it.
There are two screws directly behind the panel in the cupboard above it going down, but removing these makes no difference that I can see.

When I fitted one to a van I bolted through the base of the microwave, they are a heavy item to leave unsecured. The base was heavier gauge metal than the sides or top is the reason why I went through the base.
Looking at the pics - is there access down the sides of the microwave from above? If there is look to see if a plate has been bolted to the base wider than the microwave and is fastened down the sides at the bottom.

Mine sits underneath the combined sink/gas hob. Conversion company say if i need yo change the microwave, I first need to remove the sink/gas hob to access the screws that hold everything.

Don't know if this helps with anything.

If you open the door, will it not pull straight out?
No, it definitely won't! I've tried...

No access from above. There's a shelf with no visible fixings.

There's a cupboard directly underneath the sink, and then the microwave sits underneath the cupboard.

I'll reach out to the conversion company tomorrow to see if they can shed some light. If it turns out to be a whole unit out job then it can probably stay!

Have you had a look inside the microwave for screws that go out the way into the cabinet around it?
I’m not sure about microwaves but ovens have screws inside the door and fridges have white caps over screw holes in the sides to fix them.
I’ve got a microwave in mine and am not entirely sure how it’s fixed either.
I will investigate and get back.
I’m a joiner so fit appliances into units all the time.

Does the plastic looking surround pop off ?
Given it a very firm pull - slight give in one corner but not the rest of it.

Yes had a look inside and can't see anything. If you could have a look and feed back that would be great.

Just heard back from the converter and apparently it is rear seat out then remove kitchen in order to get to it. So it can stay for now!
