Removal Of Plastic Hand Brake Lever Trim

I am trying to remove the plastic trim around the hand brake.
I have watched the Kiravans video on youtube and he show push a button and slide the trim forward. It looks very easy, however I cant manage it. I've looked under and cant work out how the button he presses works.


Am I missing something? Any tips please?

Not a push button, get a screw driver and lever it away from the handbrake then pull the whole lot off.

just pry in an upwards direction. Came off
