Any recommendations for wheel alignment in the Cambridge /newmarket area please?

Depends on the skill and diligence of the operator. Optical kit can be equally good given an experienced operator and sufficient time.

Accident repair centres are usually far more picky and skilled than simple tyre and exhaust outfits.

I agree it is the guy who is setting up the suspension alignment that is the most important aspect. Far too many people doing this work are slovenly in approach and use and care of equipment.

I've used a couple of different STS Tyre pro locations to have a lowered transporter aligned and been happy with the results. I'm sure there's one in East Anglia.
