I see alot of these for sale across the tinternet, not sure whats best quality?
Preferably in indium grey if possible:thumbsup:
Thank you.

My genuine VW one went ages ago.
My advice @LambethBoy is if you insist on fitting one, they come with two 6mm bolts fixed into the spoiler, where you are meant to drill into the top of the tailgate and bolt from underneath.
Cut them off, and don't drill the tailgate, because it's a nightmare to put this right if you remove the spoiler in the future, and leaves two holes on top of the tailgate.

There are plenty of adhesives available that are strong enough to hold the spoiler without any need for bolts.

I have genuine, fits like a glove, not like a cheapy fibreglass one I had on my previous T5, that was rough as f*ck and needed loads of work before painting. Buying a white van helps here, as genuine ones come pre painted in either white, black or red I believe. As @Tourershine says, don’t use the bolts, no need to cut them off, the come separate before fitting. I used a dinitrol fitting kit from Banwy, still rock solid after 2 years.

Should blend in with the dent..

buy a genuine one from TPS and ask for a discount also buy 2 tins of original spray paint they come with laquer its already primed.
i seem to think it cost around £160 with paint.
i did mine it came out great and lets face it you only ever see the underneath and edges of it. (your not painting a bonnet)
and Yes glue it on with say Tiger Seal it wont come off.

ps.. i think T5.1 is the same one but please check part numbers or maybe others on here might advise..

Ahhhh. Like that is it.
Ok, i'm not infallible, I have made a couple of mistakes which I know is hard to believe, but the 'said' dent will be gone shortly, and the lesson is learnt.

Anyone reading this and wondering what my good friend @Fish has heard on the T6 bongo drums, i'm not ashamed to pass on my wisdom.

'When jacking up the rear of a lowered T6 in your garage to change brakes, please be sure you didn't park the van below the bracket that supports the electric garage motor. The aforementioned bracket is strong enough to support a double garage door motor and all the related railing system, and fixed to a supporting roof joint, therefor in a stress test between a T6 roof, and the said bracket, the VW looses every time'
It's an easy mistake to make when using a commercial grade jack, and although the resulting damage is a large indent into the rear of my roof, thankfully my dent guy can remove it.

The gloves are off my Indium friend ;)

Ah ,I see it was the jacks fault..
Glad to hear that the gentleman you are aware of is able to correct the jack's mistake and put it straight.
I'm sure Team black will be disappoint to see you part from them when you change..

Not sure if I’m looking at right website but they don’t have any rear spoilers for sale??

TPS genuine part £229.50 plus VAT

Bought mine from Banwy, 2 years ago, seems they don’t sell them anymore. Have you tried Vanstyle or Van X?
