Regardless of re-use or new add polymer sealant around the interface between the lens and body.

I had a right game just trying to get the bulb out of the holder.
Do you mean spray it all round the holder?
Or just aim the spray through the access hole in the wheel arch

Any tips that might help avoiding breaking the plastic tabs when removing the bumper?
