Had my T6 since Feb 2017. Reception on the radio seems to have got poor lately. Even prime stations it struggles with. Anyone was have issues advice?

The antenna in the mirrors are crap, I had a DAB/FM/GPS shark fin fitted on the roof now I have clear reception everywhere I go no more drop out and breaking up.
You got a 12v USB or other charger plugged onto a socket causing interference?
Which one did you use?
How odd that you mention that. My colleague and I were only saying yesterday how much better the VW DAB reception is compared to my previous Vivaro DAB. The Vauxhall always dropped out, no matter where you went, and we ended up just using FM permanently.
The T6 one has never dropped out on mine, and I drive all over the country. I just have the standard mirror aerial.
Which stations do you listen to?; I'm usually BBC4/2 and the van constantly switches from DAB to FM automatically due to poor DAB reception; I have never been aware of it happening until I look at the head unit.
But when I've listened to DAB only stations, it has been found wanting regularly.
Radio 2, or Radio 1 when the teenagers touch their grubby fingers on my radio. I've never seen mine swap between FM and DAB
You’ve been lucky mine would constantly drop in and out just driving between Exmouth and Folkestone even on the M25, so ripped mine out of the mirrors when upgraded to power fold and installed the shark-fin.
