Question. Disconnect battery? T6 (2017)

Hi,

I'm looking at disconnecting my Shuttle's battery (2017 T6) to install a second battery under the driver's seat, trickle charge) and install a diesel heater. I had a new battery in my 2012 Passat and the garage connected a slave battery before disconnecting the old vehicle battery as this would mean they didn't have to input any codes to the radio.

I have the standard T6 radio large screen none navigation unit, but wondered if anyone has had issues afterwards when disconnecting their vehicle's battery to carry out work on their T6?

No it’s fine you can disconnect it without any bad side effects
You will need to reset the clock and reset the one touch windows that’s all
