Has anyone used PROtekt8 ?

I’m going to experiment on the Tesla, which is 4 years old, black paint and in terrible condition.

I have machine polished the Tesla to reduce some of the scratches, but is is still in a poor state.

To give PROrekt8 the best chance, I’ve preped the Tesla with strip wash, contact wash, iron out, polish and then a clean with Bilt Hamber cleaner fluid followed by another contact wash. The paint is squeaky clean, all be it scratched to hell.

The PROtekt8 adverts show it working on paintwork in a very similar condition to mine and restoring it to what looks like concours condition.

It’s an experiment and I’m not expecting good results. If they are good, then I’ll use it on the van, which is black, but almost flawless paint.

Watch this space…..waiting for the product to arrive from China.

If a machine polish won't get rid of the swirls, i can't see a spray product doing it?

I’m not showing you the results cause there is nothing to show. It is Sh!t.

Applied to a very clean car, tried to buff to a shine and all it did was smear and would not buff up to a shine. I ended up cleaning it off with Bilt Hamber Cleaner Fluid.

Seriously, utter snake oil.
