I've spent most of the evening trying to get tickets to Sam Fender, Ben Elton and Bjork. Not a complementary mix I grant you, but they're on our to do list for this year.
The former two all sold out where I want to go. Bjork £106 ea. for standing tickets. She is outstanding live, but it's not a £500 night for the wife and I to get up to the O2 all in, overnight and fund a babysitter.
Clearly the market is never wrong, and Fender & Elton are priced about right to have sold out. I'm astonished at how much a date night at any of these would cost me !
I think I'll just have to keep an eye out on the 'bay...
