PP Tuning remap and exhaust package

Have a good search of the forum for the various concerns with both tuning the 102/5 speed and PP as a company.
The 5 cog box can't reliably handle more than 340NM so some circumspection is required.
That said, reputable tuners who are familiar with the vehicles know this and will keep within the limit and provide a nice progressive delivery to not strain things unduly.
I'd see how you get on with towing on a standard engine before investing.

Yes I had thought that, have a go first as it may be OK.
From the reviews I have read and from contact with the company they specialise in VW vans and know the parameters and work within the safe limits of each vehicle rather than a generic remap.

Just to be clear PP tuning are not Pendle performance, they are a Pendle agent (along with countless others) but that is all to my knowledge and im not aware of anyone having issues with them ?

Yes I had read they were an agent. I have heard good things about the company, they give a pre test drive and roling road and map accordingly.
I can't even begin to understand how a 102 manages to tow a caravan.

I can recall towing a wally wagon with a 73 bhp 1.6 Cortina. We quickly forget how bad we had it within living memory and we still managed.
I bet it weighed half as much though
Feel like my 150 needs another 100bhp
