Picking up new van this weekend

Hi folks,

I’m collecting my first transporter this weekend. It’s a 2023 plate grey T6.1 110 SWB with 6k on the clock. I have plans to slowly convert the van into a camper but have little knowledge or experience in this area. I look forward to reading previous threads and learning from you guys.

I’ll post some pics when the vans in my possession.

Congrats on the new van, I'm also doing a DIY conversion so in a similar spot. Take your time, do your research, ask for advice and/or help when needed and enjoy the process.
 
Nice! It’s a Slippery slope!
Enjoy the van as soon as it comes, just get out in it and find what works for you best and what you want. If it’s your first van, you’ll find even just the van the most useful vehicle you’ve owned as it is!
Get the credit card ready, even more so going into summer 🤣
