I've been reviewing my minuscule pensions and I think i need to stick them all into one.
Can anyone recommend a Pensions Advisor?
I've had some bad advice in the past and am a bit wary of just picking one at random.

Hi, I can highly recommend a company in Cheltenham who have sorted out all my pensions for me.
They are called HDA and below is a link

If it's already minuscule spend it now on new mods.....or buy a small flat, house, apt and rent it out.
My thoughts are : if you cash in your pension with say 100k, you will die with nearly 100k left as you'll be shit scared to spend it...how long do you need it to last? Worrying if you run out!
If you buy a house with your 100k and rent it for 500 a month you'll spend every penny of your 500 as you'll know its coming again next month...and you still have tour APPRECIATING 100k

Surely pensions are at rock bottom at the moment. If you transferred, would you not have to sell the stock at a potentially large loss? Mine needs sorting as well but just assumed now is not the time.

If you have a SIPP with some of it sitting in cash, a couple of weeks ago (Maybe even now) was a great time to convert some into shares at massive discount. I put some of mine into ITV and WPP as an example, both solid companies with a future, at less than 50% of their pre virus price and they’re already up by almost 20%. With hindsight even today’s prices will probably look great in 5 years if you’ve got plenty of time and have spare money to make the contribution. Most of the units I already had money in have tanked so I’m leaving them fairly confident that it’ll be fine in 27 year time when I retire, certainly not the time to sell now unless you have no choice

You can use Hargreaves Lansdown to transfer any pensions into a SIPP that you have total control over, no advisor fees, they’ll even do all the work of transferring them for you
