Hello,
I’m new to the forum! I bought a converted campervan back in September 25 and have an issue with the parking sensors (i knew they weren’t working when I bought it) when you start the engine and put the van in reverse a loud beep is emitted to warn you they’re not worming. However if you put the van in reverse then turn it on, park pilot will work for a short time and emits a good signal before cutting out again. The van has a tow bar but not currently in use and not sure if it was fitted before or after conversion. We’ve checked all the sensors which are clicking. There is also a message that comes up saying front assist not available so assuming it could be connected ? I’ve read similar things on the forum but not quite like my issue. Can anyone shed some light?
It recently had a code read for another fault and the park assist was on there but don’t think the code meant much without diagnosing further.
