This is a really random one, but worth putting in here and left running incase it can help myself and someone else at the same time.
I have a twin sliding door Pearl Black Kombi, with no real love or need for the glass on my sliding doors, and a big love for the panel van look. I'm aware that a panel van in Pearl Black, with twin sliders is not a common T6 to see, but it's worth a punt.
If you're looking to convert your panel T6 into a Camper/Kombi, and want to save the cost of adding windows to your sliding doors, and want a genuine factory glass fitted door, i'd be interested in a straight swap.
Obviously you'd need to be the same colour as me, the doors would need to be mint, as mine are, and you'd have to come to me in Leicester, where I have the tools and know how to swap a door over.
Also interested if you want to do this with just the one side, if you only have single sliders.
If anyone thinks of a reason this isn't a straight forward swap, please let me know. As far as i'm aware, the doors should be identical, regardless if the T6 is SWB or LWB. Obviously all door fixings, locks panels etc can be swapped so they are kept with each original van. All well within my capabilities, and not a complex job as far as I can see.
Like I said, it is a long shot, but worth asking. I will also consider any sliding doors that are for sale in other colours, and if this Wanted ad doesn't work, I might just end up buying a pair of new doors to do the conversion.
