Ovano table (aren’t they worth it?)

@cossie

Cheers for this, I think I’m just going opt for a new one, the extra, with postage etc and no marks or scuffs be worth it.
Maybe if I was closer to the seller.
Nice one for pointing it out though 👍

I made my own one with a bracket from eBay and got a table made.
Think I was around £120 all in

The table and half the arm just lift off and I sore it behind the drivers seat attached to the main table stored there.
The other half the arm stays attached to the pillar

Like it! They look very similar to fishing tables and trays in the design.
Did you buy the bracket/arm already fabricated?

Yes bought the arm pre-made and used another place on eBay to make me a small table.
I had to pack out the arm from the vans pillar so the table can swing outside.
I will have a look back and try find them for links and post more pics for you mate.

I used the round black plastic spacers that come with tv wall brackets to keep the square plate off the vans pillar. So that the table can swing outside the van.
I also fitted it higher than i should have. I would keep the plate closer to the ground if I was to do it again.

Our tables are super easy to fit (Less than 10 mins). And they're the same shape as the B-pillar so you don't have the rectangular bracket hanging off. Due to the shape and height of the bracket ours also allows fixings higher up to counter the leverage of weight on the tables, so in short ours are much stronger than others.

I'm also offering anyone on the forum a 10% discount. Use T6FORUM.

Hi Josh. Thanks for sharing the discount. We’ve been considering getting the Ovano table for our Kombi conversion. We have a pop top and use the passenger seat swivelled to get access to it. Have you (or anyone else) got any pictures of the table folded away along the sliding door where it would be at night to allow us access to and from the roof and so that we could use the porta potti which would be on the floor inside the door? Thanks.

Just for reference, the small thumb nuts are a mod to add a pair of legs to the table as we sometimes use it out of the van as a coffee table when we’re chilling, every item in the van should be multi purpose,

Hey, Green Giant. Love this idea. Can you elaborate on it a bit more please. What exactly did you do and where did you get the parts and legs from to use the table outside of the van?
