Not really plug and play 😀

Ok so fitted these to my 2022 t6.1.

Got the usual fog light error bulb warning.

No problem, fire up vctool and set the fog lights lamp loads to 'general LED 12w'

Dimming on AB went to 127 from 100 being leds, activated with engine on, and lock to lock steering and so far so good.

If I get any later issues will report back

When you have the occasion (won't be difficult in this season) please report how they work with actual fog.

Long ago the consensus was that you needed a uniform, low "blade" of light, to illuminate the road markings and not to blind you reflecting back from the fog.
The position on T6 seems appropriate.
Was also suggested yellow color, that should penetrate more the fog and/or reflect less. In France was a kind of religion.
Had several cars with LEDs but none had fogligts anymore.
It might be that I drive less at night, but it seems to me also that there is way less fog/smog nowadays. Maybe our DPFs work at the end.

Was thinking about this as my fogs look yellow against my LED headlights.

The will look spot on with your leds buddy.
Light Output is non intrusive as at the moment the act like most do, on steering into side roads etc.

Don't turn them on then. You can code out the cornering function with VCDS too. They really aren't necessary, especially as you have LED headlights.

If they are Halogen fogs the will look yellow-er than your LEDs.
Same as my (ultra-white) Halogen DRLs , against my Osram LED H7 , when I artificially force them ON together. Hopefully in the normal behavior the T6.1 is one of the few cars that turns ON the dipped beam alone, without any other light.
I was talking about really , purposedly yellow , fog lights, though.

Also, i don't know on yours, but on some models VW activates the foglights at 50% using PWM when used as turnig lights. That makes them yellower ( warmer light) than usual.
