On a 2017 t6 kombi Is the power on to this even when ignition off

is there a way i can get this to work only when the ignition is on as i want to use it for a dash cam

I presume you are referring to the cigarette lighter socket? Not that I’m aware of.

You’d need to tap off a fuse that is live when the ignition is on.

Ah thanks yes it was the cigar lighter
