Oil emulsification around filler cap

My 2018 T32 4 motion has yellow emulsified oil around the filler cap, the oil on the dipstick is very thick (but not emulsified)
It had an oil change recently which made no difference. VW van center said this is normal? Coolant levels have never dropped.
I took an oil sample using an oil extractor and the oil was normal viscosity with no emulsification, this was sent to Miller oils and came back with with a normal result, no problems including a note that there was no evidence of EGR corrosion which was a big relief.
Is this normal as the VW center said, I never trust what they tell me.

Perfectly normal and happens on all engines of that type
It gets better with longer runs and higher engine temps but generally these engines run a bit cooler and that point is one of the cooler spots so you notice it the most
