WARNING - they leak!

Pair of complete OEM sliding windows for spares. One is showing signs of rust on the lower rail. Trims, sliding glass, mechanism all good. Drainage channel damaged on removal. Fitted some OEM fixed glass panes.

I know a few people want to persevere with the OEM sliders and improve the seals etc so might be useful to test upgrades.

Collection ASAP from Broughton Astley.

BTW, did I mention they leak?
 
There are two main issues and the first probably causes the second…

1) the drainage system doesnt work.

2) the internal mechanism is basically two steel L channels bonded to the glass with all the plastics etc attached to them. They rust and delaminate. Should have used stainless instead of penny pinching!
 
Hi morning Ian hope your good , yeah a shambles from the word go. I thought there was a company meant to be doing a glass with sliding windows that were flush. But not sure what the outcome was.
 
Still available - next garage clear out I’ll strip all the trims off and sliding parts - rest will go to the tip!
 
Hey! I was waiting for you to get back from your trip! Then I went off on one. Could I take these off your hands? Though I won’t be back in civilisation (Leicestershire) until Sunday. Would that be ok?
