Found Oem Roof Guide Rails

I will have a set from my LWB available in January when my roof gets cut off for the pop top. Not sure if the rails could be adapted to SWB. Can get up there and take a look at the weekend if it would help?
If I have not found any by then, it's a good option. Just the difficulties of getting them. I suspect that the bolt hole placing will be different between the LWB and SWB. So not only would they have to be shortened, which will not be difficult, but they will have to be re-drilled. Again not an insurmountable problem. Thanks for the offer.
If I get a chance at the weekend I will measure up the hole spacing.

Not forgotten and have just ordered the OEM standard bolts so that I can take the rails off as this is a job I need to do anyway.

So the roof rack prep rails are off my van and I have all of the fixings except two self tapping pan head screws which fit at the very rear of the rails. I had to refit them to fill the holes.
I think they must be drilled in when they do the prep.

These are LWB rails and the hole measurements in mm are from the first hole at the front O 350 O 290 O 400 O 400 O 320 O 350 O 350 O 255 (Self tapper)
Hope that helps with seeing if they can be adapted to SWB. The plastic fairings at front and rear look to be bonded on, I have left them attached for now.
Shipping is also an issue as they are 2960mm total length.
The rails were leaking because VW sealed the spacers but not the bolts so the water was going down the thread portion. Thanks VW!

I could do with some for a SWB but I will be chopping them in half so if anyone is travelling Portsmouth wayish and have some please let me know. I cant get access as vans in storage to measure holes on a swb to check if lwb is the same though.
