OEM or aftermarket Swivel, and OEM heater or aftermarket

Just speccing up a panel van for work purposes. I will be using it as a van and as a mobile office, so need it to be warm and toasty in the winter for hours at a time.

Firstly, am I better getting OEM swivels and losing height and electric lumbar adjust, or going after market and keeping the height adjuster. I am 6'3" with long legs, wife is 5'3" so not sure if height adjustment is useful, or the added height of the swivel mech will make it to high to reach the pedals!

Secondly looking at the oem heater (programmable remote air and second battery) and like the idea of all VW built in. However read that the second battery is a bit naff, and that maybe therefore might be better going with the third party ones like webasto airtop 2000.

Thanks in advance....

Paul

I would check what knock on it has having factory swivels, I think swivels delete bulkhead and if you delete bulkhead I think you get a folding passenger seat but not sure it would apply in this scenario ?

looking on the configurator, you can spec it with 'no bulkhead' it seems, although that may change in reality!

Swivels delete bulkhead. I would go for twin captains up front with seat heating, and factory swivels.
Aftermarket eberspacher. How much do vw want for their heater? Motexion bulkhead to seal off the load aera from the, ahem, passenger compartment.....

vw want about £2100 + VAT and that includes a 'secondary battery' which I assume means a leisure battery type thing. Need to keep warm in my office....

Paid under 800 for a complete external kit with upgraded controller, silencers etc. Fitting myself but pro fit is around 250 to 300. All inc vat.
