OBD battery trickle charger

Can anyone recommend a solar car battery trickle charger which plugs into the OBD port.

Just cut the end off and wire into the solar Pwm controller.

Hmmm.... on T6 the OBD port power feed circuitry is 0.35 mm² wire

That's good to know.

Those 50w panels will give 0-3A max.

And agreed the 12v socket has a better power feed cable.

I'm assuming he wants a portable, semi permanent plug in setup?

I got a folding dashtop 100w solar panel that plugs into the cigar lighter. Think at the best of time it gets about 50w but a 'steal' risk so don't usually use it at home.

I have the cigarette lighter replaced with a USB point as I didn’t use it.
I have been looking at the AA solar trickle charger which plugs into the OBD port, I think this is the one I will give a go.
It’s relatively small in size, hopefully it will do the job.
