Numpty Driveaway Awning Question

Had a search but still confused.

I have a new, as yet unused, Vango Galli drive away awning. My van is SWB and fitted with a Reimo rail.

Though I haven't yet unpacked it(!) the Vango has a 6mm Kador strip attached.

Off on our first van camping trip this coming weekend.

I'm confused as to whether I need anything else to attach the awning to my Reimo rail and use it in 'drive away mode'.

Any help & advice very gratefully received. Thanks.

Yes you do.
You need a connector strip otherwise you’ll not be able to drive away ‘simply’. The connector enables you to separate the awning from the van without having to move either the awning or the van.
There are a few makes such as Vango, Outdoor Revolution etc.

Double check what bead size you need for your Reimo rail as the Kador strips come in a variety of sizes, e.g. 6mm to 6mm, 6mm to 4mm, etc.. I attach to a Fiamma awning so use the 6mm (into figure of 8) to 4mm (into Fiamma's channel).
